In 2008 my partner and I decided to build a house that would take in the 360 degree views of our vineyard situated on the Waimea Plains of Nelson and the surrounding hills. The spec included north facing living areas, the possibility of two accommodation units, and a shape that would wrap around a swimming pool. It was important to us that the design incorporated an ascetically pleasing entranceway, sit comfortably on the land, blend with existing vineyard buildings and provide private outdoor living areas. A big ask to try and incorporate all of these features.
Enter ‘The Designer’ – yes there is a process in getting a design 100%, but this process was made so easy by people that can listen to ideas and turn your dreams into reality. No detail too small. I can still remember clearly seeing the first elevations of ‘our home’. “From the mind to the page” just as I had imagined. The house comprises a mix of materials and innovative design and met our brief as described.
I can thoroughly recommend “The Designer” for your future build. We have a very special home as a result of the time and effort put in by these guys……a great start to a great build…………….thankyou.

We engaged you as we renovated our 1920′s American bungalow. We wanted a design that was sympathetic to the era of the house and to provide us with a design that had all the modern amenities.
We take this opportunity to thank you for making the entire process from the beginning to end so enjoyable and stress free. You are a very good listener and in fact it was like “you got it” immediately as if you could read our minds. When the plans were drafted there were only two minor changes before completion. The building Inspector at our local Council along with our builder were both very impressed with the excellent detail of the plans that were produced.
